MelanieWhen I started my journey, I weighed 276 pounds.  I now weigh 185 pounds!  I still have a ways to go, but I am getting there!

I did my first half marathon a few weekends ago.  I am so very proud at how far I have come.  I have been heavy all my life.  Made fun of through school, didn’t love myself, no confidence…..  I feel like I have finally become the woman that I am supposed to be.  I love myself for the first time in my 43 years!

I now live a healthy lifestyle whether it is food or exercising.

I am loving life and so glad I finally figured this out!

I completed Conquer the Gauntlet,  a 4 mile race with 30 obstacles. I had to throw myself over walls, climb out of 10-15 foot mud pits, carry a 10 pound log for a quarter of a mile, and climb under barbed wire through the mud and rocks amongst other obstacles.

It took me 3 hours to complete this race but my outlook was I completed  the task and am hooked for more.

This shows how I have become stronger, but I always strive to be faster, stronger and better!!
